The report unveils a trend in home embellishments this summer shifting towards a rustic look and embracing farmhouse cottage-style interiors. Generation Z is favoring second-hand home décor, showcasing an affinity for one-of-a-kind pieces that come with an earthy appeal, natural hues, and textures. Searches for terms like "second hand home décor" have surged by 488 percent.

The trend involving farmhouse cottage aesthetics embraces nature's components including brick, wood, and vintage accents, aiming to create a rustic retreat that brings a touch of countryside life to any environment, regardless of its location. Searches for this term have escalated by a stellar 911 percent.

The collected data also shows users are ready to shelve their digital devices this season, swapping them for explorations in nature and traditional pastimes. For instance, spending time in nature, or nature bathing, is getting quite popular, especially among Gen Z Pinterest users, with searches relating to relaxing in nature seeing a 32 percent bump as users spend more time in serene places like forest areas, rural landscapes, and nature parks.

This trend also reflects in the summer vacation-related searches, where highland landscapes frequently emerge as a popular choice. Searches for "book club getaway ideas" have also risen by 265 percent, demonstrating a rising interest in more traditional leisure activities.

Unsurprisingly, Pinterest users are increasingly turning to Martha for inspirational ideas. Searches for her trademark interests including garden-to-table cookery, urban farming, and fresh summer recipes are soaring at present, with the "Martha Stewart aesthetic" growing by an astounding 2,889 percent.

As per the trend report, Gen Z is making a splash by bringing back the boho aesthetic of the early 2000s by indulging heavily in crochet items. Meanwhile, the summer 2015 aesthetics are on the comeback too, with green appearing to be the color of the season.

Searches regarding astrology-inspired makeup are growing too, as each zodiac sign inspires beauty looks corresponding to its characteristics. For instance, fiery colors for Aries and soothing tones for Cancer.
